Today I rented a motorbike with my friend Amanda. We drove off away from the main town of Coron to see where the road would take us. We made a few stops along the way to snap photos of those interested in hopping in front of the camera.
Here are their photos. Tomorrow we plan to deliver the prints.
The Developing Nations Project was launched a couple months ago. Being a photographer, I already had most of the gear I needed to get the project off the ground.
I purchased a compact Canon Selphy CP-800 photo printer, so that I would not have to rely on being able to find a photo development shop while carrying out the project. Especially considering that a big aspect of the project is developing photos for people in remote areas that might not have access to development facilities.
Thank you for your generous contribution to the Developing Nations Project.
It is an incredible feeling to give a portrait to someone who has never had that opportunity to have have one, due to their location or financial situation.
Your contribution will help to cover the costs involved with this project including paper, ink, equipment upkeep and travel, as many times, a motorbike must be rented to get to these remote villages.
